Are you in love with an Aries individual? Well then you better get out your wallet. And brush up your resume too. They are a sign that has quite a few requisites before they will even consider dating you.

Ambitious Aries individuals only like things that are new. If you drive up to date an Aries female in an old car she is likely to secretly turn up her nose at you. Her friends will hear all about it. If you wear a vintage dress (unless it is very hip and designer) an Aries male will "desexualize" you in his mind in two seconds.

If you are in love with an Aries and your entire home is dressed up in the style of shabby chic that be prepared to redecorate. Aries love sleek contemporary styles that make a place look like a set from a James Bond or Stanley Kubrick film.

It also helps when you do dress if you give what you are wearing a little nifty touch. For instance if you are a male just the right tie pin or wearing a flower in your lapel will greatly impress a female Aries. In fact, Aries females adore all flowers. If you send her a bouquet she will brag about it to all of her friends for days. They love big glamorous blooms like lilies, giant roses and hydrangeas.

If you are a female Aries make sure you always wear a bra and that you wear clothes out of a fabric that is considered to be unique or expensive. Aries men will feel your blazer or sweater to make sure it is "real" cashmere. They could never love a woman who does not have good taste!

Also Aries really don't like to date those who they don't consider to be in the "winner's circle." This doesn't mean that they are shallow. It's just that they have very high standards.

Aries are terrified of becoming products of natural selection. They want their kids to be smart, healthy and well cared for. This means choosing that alpha male or female as a lover. They look for partners that have a bit of aggression and also ones that are intelligent risk takers.

However this sign does not suffer fools gladly and will simply walk away laughing and with no remorse if you do anything that they consider to be less than positive. They tolerate self-piteous or self-destructive people for about two seconds and then it is over.

If you are a male a good thing to do is flip out all of the credit and membership cards in your wallet and display them as if you were a peacock. She likes to know that you belong to important cliques.

Social climbing is very important to all Rams. If you know famous people an Aries will be drawn to you like a moth to a flame. Be sure to name drop as often as you can.

As Aries individuals do take romance so seriously they also don't take it well when you reject them. They expect you to acknowledge them constantly when you are in a crowd. There is nothing that an Aries native hates more than standing alone at a cocktail party while you chat other people up. In fact an Aries that is spurned this way thinks nothing of dispensing with you (ingrate!) and waltzing out the door with someone else.  They are quick pick up artists because they are so charming but they only tend to use their charisma in this way to get revenge.

Another cardinal sin is to keep an Aries individual waiting especially if the two of you are planning to go out to dinner. This sign has a ravenous appetite and becomes very upset when hungry or if forced out of their normal routine of eating three to sixteen meals a day. If they aren't smoking cigarettes (a favorite bad habit of this nervous fiery sign) then they are snacking because their high energy levels require a lot of calories as fuel.

The way to the Ram's heart has a lot to do with packaging. It does not matter what you are planning to do together make sure it well presented. For instance never ask an Aries individual to eat off of a paper plate if there is a china plate to be accessed in the cupboard.  Never give them a present without a bow. Make sure their cocktails always come with just the right kind of garnish on the plastic spear or you will be treated like a barbarian.

Most Aries are foodies so you need to be very careful about your choice of restaurant. They will not be satisfied going to a cheap place no matter how great the atmosphere is. They like fine wines and foods that fall into the "amuse-bouche" category.

If you really want an Aries person to fall in love with you take them to the sparsest, most chi chi designer restaurant in town and order a ten-course gourmet meal cooked by the iron chef of the moment.

While you are at it splurge on the finest wine available.  This way the Ram can give himself or herself permission to get drunk with you. Intoxication is another one of their favorite past times but they won't allow it unless they are pleased with you and the surroundings.

Even though they love exotic cuisine with interesting garnishes they are not picky eaters. They might be just as happy eating a specialty taco that you had to drive half way across the country to get as they would be eating in a five star restaurant.  They will eat macaroni and cheese if it is the very best to be had in the country. Driving them around for a wine tasting in a place like Napa Valley would be an ideal day trip for an Aries.

Aries individuals love to travel especially by plane. They don't like long drives because they don't like being confined to one space for too long. The way to his or her heart might just be to buy a first class plane ticket.

This fire sign loves the fire inside a precious stone. If you really want to impress this sign then splurge for a diamond. This is not only their birthstone but it a great symbol of the emotional security and durability that you intend to show this fun yet status conscious sign for the rest of his or her life.
